ion has become a spooky ghost especially since i've come to realize i'll have to look at every season for new ion alt clothes. ciel no surge is actually a game i'm planning to write about in the near future lol. i'm gonna scream.

well, i might as well write about what i think about ciel no surge here: it's an okay game for someone who can't concentrate too well on video games. it's got a unique setting thanks to its steampunk-like deal and has the same pacing of the sims: urbz for the ps2 without will.i.am. what i mean is that ion is going through different locales and saving people's asses there.

except not really: she's just a passive protagonist, whines a bit about how weak she is and waits for other people to do the job for her. she's literally a "nerd gf" taken to the extreme, so it's both interesting and infuriating to see the game commit to this bit.

i guess i'm not that much of a fan of passive protags. good thing ion is super KAWAII.

it's definitely taking a while for me to seriously get ciel no surge but i remain interested. i'd like to see more of the setting and kanon and nei are damn good characters. the post-chapter writing is also excellent imo, it's where you see the writers show off their dialog chops.

is this game good? we'll have to see in like months later lmao..............
